On Tuesday we headed to the main attraction anyone thinks of when you think "Paris". Of course it's the Eiffel Tower. I'm not the best with heights and I knew it was pretty high. I could tell it was gonna be a lot higher than the Arc De Triomphe but it's one of those things you just have to do!
I think we queued for just over an hour and got tickets to go to the summit with the lift. There's no way I was gonna go all the way to the Eiffel Tower and only go to the first floor. Although, once we started getting higher I did wonder if that may have been a better option...
I'm kidding! I'm really glad I pushed myself to do it and the view from the top was incredible - even if I did find I was a bit wary of getting to close to the edge!
I can imagine it's a fantastic place to visit at night to see the city all lit up and I think if I was to go back (read: Andrew, please can we go back again) I'd like to see that, especially in the Winter. Imagine snowy Paris! Ahhh!
