“Paradise Island” / Autonomous Region of Bougainville, Papua New Guinea / December 2012
Doesn’t look anything like the first class beach resorts of the world but, just from what I saw, I consider this island in Bougainville a paradise island and I can actually imagine myself living in it. A small cottage by the white, sandy beach and pristine waters; a canoe and some fishing gear; a piece of land, some tools and animals for gardening and farming; and a loved one by my side — these are all I would need. But that’s just a dream among the many other dreams I have.
Still, it’s worth the dream….
