I haven't read any full length fiction by the author but have read his contribution to another Amazon Original Stories collection. I thoroughly enjoyed this. I'm a dog person and completely related to the author talking about loving Millie and the stress felt at first by the family because it took her so long to settle with them. I loved the fact Millie is treated like a human, another neighbour and actually greeted in the street by neighbours. Dogs can be very loyal and as a kid I had a dog that would have died for me, but like Millie they can be independent as well. Parable is charming and also sad at times.
