Panasonic India added another smartphone to its already exhaustive list of smartphones, Eluga Arc is its first 2.5D curved display smartphone. Eluga Arc is priced at Rs. 12,490 and has an interesting mix of features. This device will be available across all offline retailers starting today.
The Panasonic Elgua Arc sports a 4.7 inch 2.5D curved glass display with HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, the handset has a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage and it can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.
This is a 4G mobile device which also features additional security with a fingerprint sensor, which can be configured for 5 different fingerprints and commands, for one step screen unlocking, picking calls, launching applications, clicking selfies & can even lock individual apps for enhanced security of personal data.
This phone has an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front camera. The ELUGA Arc runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) topped with the FitHome user interface, a custom skin from Panasonic, providing single thumb-flick access to applications on the home screen. Initially, this phone will be launched in royal gold color and later will be made available in other colours.
An 1800mAh battery power the device and it also supports Qualcomm’ quick charge technology which charges the battery 75% faster. Another USP of the device is that it comes enabled with Android for Work support which allows enhanced IT Security and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) compatibility for private smart devices to operate securely on corporate networks.
