Pampers supports the health of black women’s mothers by releasing an NFT project. Via a cooperation with LL Cool J’s Rock the Bells, the brand will announce an NFT series and the income will go to the Black Mamas Matter Alliance.

The NFT Pampers project helps black mothers

Melissa Aceves, the senior of Pampers Equity and Inclusion said: “At Pampers, we believe that every parent is entitled to experience the full joy of pregnancy and parenthood. Prevents black mothers from receiving fair care.

Plus launching an NFT series on the NFT marketplace Curio, Pampers will back Black Maternal Health Week, that is founded and led by the Black Mamas Matter Alliance.

The NFT series includes a 1/1 piece auction and an artwork. Pampers will sell it as an open version. Mainly, there will be no limit on the number of sales. Artist Keah Adams of the Art by Venus studios, designed both pieces. Curio will match sales that take place in the initial 24 hours.

Angela Aina, the executive director at the Black Mamas Matter Alliance, stated they value the Pampers’ assistance. She added that similar efforts by other brands can bring greater awareness about the maternal mortality crisis in the United States.

As reported by the newest statistics, black women are three times more likely than white women to die from pregnancy-related problems.

Acts of philanthropy are not new in the Web space. In deed, except for Pampers, many brands and also some countries, have used NFTs for better purposes. Ukraine, for example, has got crypto donations and also announced official NFTs to combat Russian aggression.

In addition, World of Women, an NFT project which fights for equal treatment in Web3 for female creators and artists, made significant financial contributions. Among their stakeholders are organizations such as Girls Who Code or STEM-focused women’s training groups.

As a result, the use of NFTs for philanthropy holds promise for owners and teams, which effective change can start in the Web3.
