Paleo Indian Chicken Recipe - Hamicabab

Ingredients


  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 x 3 finger pinches turmeric
  • 1 kg Chicken pieces
  • 250 g sweet potatoes (large cubes)
  • 250 g shallots
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method


  1. Fry garlic and turmeric in oil for a couple of minutes.
  2. Add chicken and fry till well browned. Takes around 10 minutes.
  3. Add potatoes and shallots and fry for a couple of minutes.
  4. Now add just enough water to cover the bottom of the pan.
  5. Cover and gently simmer till meat is tender. This takes around 25 minutes.
  6. If liquid still remains, uncover and leave in heat till liquid evaporates.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
