Paleo Coconut Porridge Recipe
Editor’s Note: This post was originally published in January 2016 and has been updated for inclusion in our 30 Days of Breakfast Meals series.
Welcome to my recipe for Paleo coconut porridge.
My biggest issue (in the past) on Paleo is breakfast. I just didn’t know what to do. It was the realization that the toast or cereal was gone and wanting something quick to replace it with. Some of the breakfast ideas that I have on Paleo take time to prepare and can end up taking over my morning when I have a lot of other more pressing things to do.
So I have created this Paleo recipe for a new take on the traditional porridge and even better it has zero preparation time so that you can get straight on with cooking and then eating it. This in conjunction with the no grain granola, tropical date granola and creamy vanilla oatmeal recipes are great slate of morning cereals for the family.
Just think – healthy porridge in just five minutes

- 80ml Shredded Coconut
- 250ml Coconut Milk
- 2Tsp almond flour
- 1Tsp vanilla
- Salt & Pepper
- 1Tsp Honey
- Raisins (optional)
- Heat the coconut milk in a saucepan on a medium heat.
- Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Cook until it becomes thick.
- Serve!
