She was able to raise Rs. 55,000 which were sufficient for the operation.

The family moved to Mumbai only six year back as she wanted to become a singer and wanted to help people through her shows. However, she released her first album at the age of nine by the name of Child for Children. In 2003, her second album Palken was released followed by many. In 2011, T-Series released her album Jai Jai Dev Ganesh. Also, she recorded her first movie song for film Damadamm in the same year. After doing some play back singing for small budget movies, she finally rose to fame with her song Lapata with KK featured in the 2012 blockbuster movie Ek Tha Tiger. Her latest songs “Meri Aashiqui Tum Hi Ho” and “Chaahun Main Ya Naa” from the movie Aashiqui 2 have received accolades from the industry and the audiences.
