Pakistani Fashion Designer Deepak PerwaniHe was born in 1973 in Belochistan. He started showing his talent at the age of twenty after passing only months in the fashion world. In 1994 Deepak Perwani brought about a revolutionary change in Pakinstani mens wear together with his first ever collection of Sherwani & occupied the position of a top Fashion Designer. He also got positive response together with his womens collection in 1996. Thus, with a successful beginning he started his journey in the fashion industry.
Deepak Perwanis designs cover a variety of variation. Along with following traditional trends, he makes use of unusual fusion of eastern & western conceptions in his wears both for men & females. From Lawn collection, embroidered Kurta, & Sarees, Perwani has collections of Bridal wears as well as Formal wears & accessories for females. He created a record in the Guinness Book of World Records for designing The Worlds largest Kurta of 101 feet tall & 59 feet three inches wide in 2007.
Deepak did the launch show of ABN Amro Bank in Pakistan & after that he worked with Mercedes Benz, Benson & Hedges, Hugo Boss fragrance & some other brands. He did the Castle India Mens Fashion Week (CIMFF) & was quoted as the pride of Pakistan by the TIMES of India. In the same year he represented Pakistan at the first ever Islamic Fashion Week in Malaysia & later in Dubai. He's achieved the prestigious Lux Style Award for Best Fashion Designer over onece.
At the age of 23 Deepak Perwani was selected the brand ambassador for the World Gold Council & later for Dupont Lycra. At 28 he was selected on to the board of governors of the Pakistan school of fashion design (P.S.F.D). As a top Pakistani Fashion Designer
he's been selected as Pakistans Cultural Ambassador to China & Malaysia. Deepak now runs his own boutique & fashion in Pakistan.
