Pakistan’s Passport Ranks Fourth-worst for International Travel: Report

Pakistan’s passport has been ranked as the fourth worst passport for international travel for the third year in a row, local media reported quoting reports by Henley Passport Index 2022 on Thursday. According to the report, Pakistani passport holders have access to visa-free or visa-on-arrival to 31 goals throughout the world.

“Henley Passport Index” has regularly monitored the most friendly passports of travel in the world since 2006, The News International reported.

“The increase in trip barriers that have been introduced during the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in the widest global mobility gap in the 16-year index history,” said the report.

The index does not take into account temporary restrictions, so leaving current travel access to the side, passport holders at the top of the ranking – Japan and Singapore – capable, in theory, to travel a visa-free trip to 192 Destinations. , The News International reported.

It was 166 more destinations than Afghan citizens, who sit under the 199 index of passports, and can access only 26 countries without requiring a visa in advance.
