Pak, an NFT artist, has created Mass.Black, the world’s first month-long NFT project. According to the artist, this is the first Mass.Black events and more will follow. He named it a “unique treasure hunt” in which participants had a month to complete. In other words, the event will continue through April 30.

a brief history of Pak’s Merge NFT release
Pak surpassed all NFT sales records in December 2021 with the astonishing selling of his song ‘The Merge’ for $91.8 million. Pak’s Mass. The Black NFT project is built on this drop. “Merge is a single piece of art distributed over numerous tokens, not a collection of works of art,” Pak said. Merge is a limited edition piece of art in which consumers acquire bulk units called tokens (masses or m tokens).
The fascinating thing now is that two mass tokens in a user’s wallet will merge to become a single NFT. This NFT will have the same mass as the previous two tokens and will similarly increase in size. Additionally, the procedure of the smart contract will burn the token with a smaller mass.
Finally, as the user base grows, the number of Merge NFTs changes. Despite the odds, Merge may eventually become a 1/1 NFT.
What is the purpose of Mass.Black?
Today, all Merge NFT holders may participate in Pak’s debut Mass. Black event, where they can compete for “Matter” tokens. There are around 1409 tokens available, each with a unique rarity, according to sources. Holders who meet certain criteria may participate in a one-of-a-kind treasure hunt in order to claim the tokens.
To begin, we shall divide the token distribution in half. In general, bulk and merge operations will be prioritized according to token IDs. Additionally, there are eleven levels where you may get Matter. After that, anybody with m tokens and four or more merges is eligible to receive 750/750 “Matter” tokens dubbed “Hunters and Traps.” Following that, individuals with masses of 10 or more are eligible for ‘Scavenger’s Weak Hands’ 450/450 Matter tokens.
The next tier is 150/150 Matter ‘Cannibalism,’ which holders of m tokens with the most merges may claim. Yellow (t2) m token holders who have the most merges will get 36/36 ‘Lazy Gold’ and 12/12 ‘Lone Survivors’ Matter tokens, respectively. While 6/6 ‘Kings of the Hill’ Matter tokens are awarded to the m tokens with the highest mass, 3/3 ‘Three Lucky Giants’ Matter tokens are distributed randomly.
On the other hand, 1/1’Atlas Apprentice’ is for the m tokens with the greatest mass. Finally, the alpha m bearer is entitled to get one (1) ‘Titan’ Matter token. Pak has not yet disclosed the names of two further tiers.
Finally, if you are one of the lucky beneficiaries of a Matter token, you can choose to keep it or burn it.
