I'm working on a complex manuscript that includes a grabbag of writing from different places -- straightforward text, blog posts with comments, Facebook posts, emails -- the kind of digital compilation that has so many hidden characters that it has already destroyed one version of itself in Word.
In hopes of avoiding a repeat, I decided to create a separate doc in Pages where I've imported all the blog and FB posts (another story as many are missing from FB -- weird). Now it's time to knit the two together, weaving in two more sources: another mss and a Google doc.
My question: if you've done anything like this, would you use Word or Pages? FYI, I'm on a two-year-old MacAir that I've just souped up with a speedy new large drive so space is not a problem.
