Life admin bulletin/inconsistent train of thought re: moving abroad. Hong Kong updates: my one-way ticket is booked to Hong Kong! I fly out on Thursday 30th October, landing on Halloween but let's pretend that doesn't panic me at all. Do you know what? Up until the ticket confirmation came through, this whole debacle didn't even seem real to me. But it really does now. I've been seriously busy with leaving drinks, meals and all that fun stuff since I announced it - girl needs a break to pack.
Btw, I don't have a suitcase.
Or a sofa.
But I am pretty sorted with a wishful capsule wardrobe list that I'm tempted to stick to and document while in Hong Kong.
My boyfriend took us out to London Zoo last weekend and we had the best time. I'm not sure if the whole zoo thing will be a bit controversial, but regardless we had the best day. We got to see the cutest baby monkey, visit a giant tortoise, see the gorillas and hang out with penguins. Then we took a Saturday stroll through Camden, chowed down on burritos and caught a sleepy train home.
I'm also currently trying to pick paint colours for my apartment that is largely stuck in the monochrome 80s. I'm leaning towards an antique white for the living/dining area and a duck egg blue for my bedroom. All these teeny decisions for a big move eh?
