From my first visit to the British Columbia Aviation Museum. This sleek twin is the second of three Turbo Tradewinds upgraded by the Province of British Columbia using PT6A turboprop engine kits. Operated by Keewatin Air in 1982, it was later damaged in a hangar fire. Too costly to repair, the airplane was donated to the Museum. Pacific Airmotive converted a total of 48 Tradewind aircraft from surplus U.S. Air Force C-45s.
