Story: Overhaul starts when truck racer Roger (Martins) loses again to his big rival. His best friend Danilo (Logam) continues to support him on and off the track, but they are facing competitive challenges. However, his reputation has started to come back and haunt him.

When his wealthy father is killed in an accident, Roger finds himself running low on money. To save his racing team, Roger must turn to a life of crime as a getaway driver for stolen goods. It leaves us with the question of whether he can live the double life or not.

Verdict on Overhaul

Overhaul is an action thriller following a truck racer who sees his life turned upside down. He puts his professional career on the line to try and make the money he has been losing. However, it turns into a battle that could become life-changing for him.

This is an action thriller that feels a lot like an early Fast and the Furious movie. As it follows a man with skills who gets dragged into a criminal operation, all while trying to keep his career alive. There are some fun chase sequences that use trucks instead of cars, which makes the chases slower, but more peril filled. The criminal side of the story works, showing how experts can get drawn into a criminal world. However, it doesn’t bring too much new to the table and ends up feeling like something you could enjoy in the late-night-action formula.
