Verdict on Outside
Outside is a horror thriller following a family trying to hold everything together during a zombie apocalypse. It sees them fortify a home, before getting caught up in past dramas and conflict about where the best place to live will be.
This movie brings us a different concept of the zombie outbreak movie. Instead of the zombie being the biggest threat, it is the mind of the survivors. It plays into the psychological damage created in an isolated environment, through the eyes of a family slowly torn apart. The one downside of this movie is the length, it could have told the same story with a much tighter runtime. However, it is interesting to see the horrors of a zombie outbreak putting more focus on human problems.
