Verdict on Outlaw
Outlaw is an action thriller following a woman’s life in the criminal underworld in the favela in Brazil. She was sold into the trade early and learned how to survive the industry and make a name for herself. However, it is filled with problems and she proves how to make it to the top.
This movie shows a different direction of the crime world and through a set of eyes thrown in at an early age. It shows how she overcame different problems to remain influential in the world. However, it leads us down the more typical path of drug lords thinking they are right, causing pain and destruction while being hunted. It might be based on a real story, but it continues to glamorise a few years of pleasure at the suffering of others.
