I never post at night, but I’ve made a little exception here. The reason is that I have to go to the hospital tomorrow super early for another surgery but hopefully after that (and recovery) I’ll be healthy again. Can’t wait for all the hospital visits to be over. I haven’t really shared on the blog what’s going on with you guys, partly because there’s a fine line between sharing bits of your life and sharing all of it which might make Lovely By Lucy more of a lifestyle blog than a fashion blog. Because you know, I do more than just shopping and online shopping and going to events and shooting my outfits, but that’s just what I share on this blog. Partly I also haven’t told you because I know many of you might not be interested much because you come to Lovely By Lucy for outfit inspiration (which is great) and that’s it, I don’t want to bore anyone with the nick nacks of my personal life. I do want to thank you however for all the support you’ve been giving me, that really means the world!
So I’m doing what I said I wouldn’t, back to my outfit. Even though I will be in sweatpants for probably the next two weeks I’ve been a good blogger in the past week and shot some extra outfits so that I still have things to share with you guys. This one is actually from last week. The minute I walked out to shoot, a snow blizzard decided to show up (which was much worse than the few little white spots you see in the pictures). Luckily I was wearing lots of layers: a comic sweater, my boyfriends hoodie again and a denim vest that I DIY-ed on top of it which I think really works. Also, I found the perfect white skinny jeans and I’m super happy with those, they’ll be worn a lot this spring! Again quite an easy look here but these are my favorites right now: boyfriend hoodies, layering and the cap that hardly leaves my head.
