It’s like Garance read my mind when she wrote about her commandments of style, especially the one saying ‘buy something last season’. The night before I had just ordered these boots. You might know them, since they’ve been around for a while and are actually from 2 seasons ago. I liked them from the moment I saw them, tried them on twice but never got them. I think it was because everybody (especially boyfriend) hated them when I showed them, so I thought ‘Oh, there will be another pair of boots’. When I spotted them in a certain outlet however (not a bad idea to check that every once in a while), I thought to myself ‘Whyyyy did I never get these boots? I still love them!’ and so I clicked them home – for an outlet price, yay! There will be not a single hair on my hairy head that will regret this buy, that’s the thing about getting something last season. You might like them, you might not (sorry boyfriend) but I think they’re great and they walk like heaven.
This doesn’t happen every week though. I do love the changing of seasons and collections and am totally embracing the new grunge trend that’s going on right now and will become even better this fall – since fall is just a better season for grunge. So also in my shopping bag was this checked long waistcoat. Absolutely perfect to throw over a black ensemble or in this case, boyfriend shorts and a sheer white tee – to bring some grunge into my outfits.
On a different note: SUPER SORRY that my blog was offline for almost a day. I have no idea what happened but the bright people who know their technical stuff fixed it so I’m happy. I hope you are as well!
