We all do the same. We see something we like and then we either look for that or something similar. That’s why we all get the Dries-ish sheer checked shirts from Zara, the Balenciaga-esque space prints and the Marant-like sneakers wedges. I do it as well, and there’s nothing wrong with it. I mostly do it when it comes to runway shows: I see things I like and then I look for elements that I can use for my daily wear. I’m talking Alexander Wang SS13 here, where the cutouts were my favorite part of the collection. However, lasercut dresses exposing a lot of skin are not really made for me, so when I found this skirt I thought: yes, this is cutout a la Lucy. Subtle yet sexy, simple yet edgy. With of course, a sporty vibe added by a number tee (can’t get enough of those) and a tough of bright blue. This skirt will be worn a lot this spring, there’s a million ways to wear a black skirt anyways right?
Lots of love from Bali!
