I was so pumped to go to kindergarten orientation this year. We are excited and scared for the little man to be main streamed so soon (we honestly thought and were told it would be years if ever), but we know it's what is best for him so I'm keeping my cool and attending all the school events.
Here is what I wore to kindergarten orientation:
Jacket: C/O Sheinside, Top: Macys (Kensie), Jeans: 7 for all Mankind, Boots: Dolce Vita, Bag: C/O Just Fab, Necklace: Ax+Apple, Bracelet: C/O Novobeads, Watch: Fossil I'm so glad I went. It was a bit overwhelming, I found out the kids have tests in kindergarten! It was crazy to see how much more he is going to be expected to do on his own, but again it going to be great for him. We are so proud of his progress and he has taught us to never put him in any box. I can't believe our son (who just 2 years ago couldn't say more then a few words or make eye contact) is now talking in sentences, playing with other kids, making eye contact, and will be joining a "regular" kindergarten class in the fall. Proud warrior mama moment! Now if we could just master appropriate social ques.... ;) I'm going to get calls about tackling and kissing kids for sure. That's my boy!
