I hardly ever wear sequins but when I do, I do it casual. I got this sequin top on sale as a sort of challenge to myself: it’s a really cool top and maybe it’s not what I usually get but let’s see what I can do with it. I really like the contrast between the basic, non-sexy front with long sleeves and the super sexy back. The sexy back was also which made me want to dress it down a little, I like combining the effortless with the unexpected. Apparently boyfriend jeans and sequins go very well together, if you ask me. I feel like I’m going all out at the top, and bringing it back to my style at the bottom. I’ve been getting a lot of basics lately so it was fun to style a statement piece like this. I could see me wearing this to a party with a skirt and heels though, but for me this is better for an everyday look.
I hope you all had a great weekend! I have to run now, off to the Modefabriek, a Dutch Fashion Fair, and it will be a busy workweek for me. I’m not that much of a talker on Monday mornings anways, sorry ;) Happy Monday!
