Black Fluffy Sweat: Primark, Black Skinny Jeans: Asos, Tassel Loafers: Office, White Crop Tee (below): Primark
I just wanna clear something up. A lot of people think that I'm constantly buying new things, of course I won't deny it, however I have had a huge clear out the past few months and have recycled and sold a lot of clothes on eBay, see here, as I have found a hell of a lot of stuff in my wardrobe that I haven't even worn. Once I had pulled out the pieces, I haven't worn and lets accept will never wear, along with a few old pieces that need replacing I really don't have a lot of things. I need to be more careful with what I buy and instead build a capsule wardrobe of pieces that all compliment and go with one another. I'm a sucker for a simple black & white monochrome look and this was what I went for today. I wanted to start by doing some regular outfit posts like this of what I wear 'everyday' as I love seeing these types of photographs on tumblr.
The cropped white tee works well with these high waisted black skinny jeans from Asos if you just want to show a little bit of your midriff. Ok let me just say this is still acceptable in Autumn. I also love turning the bottoms of my jeans up at the moment, particularly with this type of shoe, whilst also showing a bit of ankle aka 'ankle cleavage'. I think these will also look good teamed with some lace or pastel coloured socks. I absolutely adore these shoes and were such a worthy investment. I did also pick up these brogue style ones here which I think I may return. These tassel loafer shoes have a bit of a stereotype for being a gentleman's style shoe, being pure ugly, hard and uncomfortable. These are by far the complete opposite of all these stereotypes and are really such a staple piece; a much welcomed investment for fall. Lastly, I'll just briefly mention this black sweat, a dupe for the Asos & Topshop fluffy sweats, but for well under half the price. I picked up two just incase...you know how the saying goes 'nothing lasts forever'. If you seriously love something and it's a classic staple piece, my motto is by a second back up of it.
