Out and about in South St. Paul

A couple weeks ago Stella and I went for a morning walk at Simon’s Ravine Trailhead which is now an access point to the North Urban Regional Trail since being constructed. It was a dreary morning so we had the trail to ourselves. Apparently we were the only ones brave enough to face the off and on little rain drops. Stella could care less. When she’s walking…she’s in the zone and focused. We walked about a mile and a half in and then turned around to head toward the Mississippi River.

Once we made it back and crossed Concord Ave, we did the mile loop at Kaposia Landing. There’s a pretty big dog park on the edge of the mile loop but unfortunately we don’t have a permit for Stella so we couldn’t go in. Maybe we’ll have to consider one for next summer. Overall it was a really nice easy trail, both Kaposia Landing and Simon’s Ravine, and it was fun to check out another area. Cheers to exploring!
