Prince Georges County resident Chelai Johnson of Our Stylish Kids is hosting a children’s consignment sale on March 23, 2013, 8am to 1pm, admission is free. Do you have children’s clothes, books, toys, car seats, high chairs, educational DVDs, nursery items, etc. that you’d like to pass on to another family? Or maybe you’re in need of these items but not wanting to pay retail prices. This consignment sale is the right opportunity for you. You not only get to give your gently used items and free up some space in your place but those who consign get to price their own items. Cost for consigning with Our Stylish Kids is $8. Sellers earn 40% of their sale product. It’s a 60/40 split between Our Stylish Kids and the seller.
”Four years ago I was laid off. During this time I went to a consignment sale in Baltimore. I was able to get so many things for my daughter that I was able to sell the overage.” Chelai Johnson remembers that time, “My budget was slashed but my daughter was still growing.”
The actual sale date is Saturday March 23rd, but if you are signed up to received email updates from PGC Blog, you are eligible for a TWO FREE TICKETS TO THE FRIDAY NIGHT PRESALE!!! This consignment sale is just an awesome event and to ice this already great cake, whatever is not purchased is donated to Shabach Emergency Empowerment Center in Lanham on Brightseat Road. Chelai Johnson didn’t start out trying to have a business. She simply wanted to bring this consignment concept to her community.
