…wishing you the merriest…
As I mentioned, this year we initially went for the gold/white/silver look. Pretty, but kinda boring.
Then I saw the inspiration to add black/white/green into the mix for a little pop. And while I didn’t have the time to add it to the tree, I was able to find black/white gift wrap and green ribbon at Target…score!
This is the first year we didn’t put our collection of annual ornaments my husband and I give to each other on the tree. Next year, they’ll make a comeback.
I had to hang the David Hicks’ La Fiorentina stockings that Melanie of Plum Cushion made for me with extra fabric from my pillows last year.
And isn’t anything more festive with Lucite candlesticks and Jonathan Adler gold bud vases? Especially with the lights we added to the West Elm bay leaf garland we’ve had for years.
And here’s our Christmas card — see I told you, I went all out with this look as best I could two weeks before Christmas!
Wishing you the merriest holiday! I hope that you all get to take a week off of work like I do. Lucky for me, I’ll be in Napa. I’ll think of you as I down that ’96 Montelena cab.
And remember the gray/white/orange baby shower and nursery scheme? Well…he’s here! So I’ll also get to meet my new nephew too, born 2 days ago!!!
