How bad was that? Even the guy that knocked him out seemed legitimately upset about what had just happened. Hockey is a crazy sport like that though. No one on the ice or on the benches would even think about making a comment about how bad this guy got knocked out because they respect the hell out of anyone who throws down. It feels like the ultimate respect move in the NHL when players are tapping their sticks on the boards/ ice in appreciation for two guys dropping the gloves and going at it.
Still, that was tough to watch. I swear the more hockey I watch, the more I get locked in.
