ORIGYN and UEFA Foundation Release ‘NFTs for Good’

ORIGYN and UEFA Children’s Foundation have teamed up to release ‘NFTs for Good’. These NFTs are part of ORIGYN’s initiative with the same name. Comprehensively, they will create unique football collectibles. That will begin from the referee’s coin from the EURO 2020 final match between England and Italy. A physical and corresponding digital twin NFT will be auctioned off.

About the ORIGYN and UEFA series

ORIGYN, a Swiss non-profit foundation which plans to open the powers of rights for valuables objects, have announced their partnership with UEFA Children’s Foundation.

ORIGYN and UEFA will create a limited series of physical collectibles as an important part of the NFTs for Good charity initiative. A related digital one will be created for each of the unique memorabilia, containing one of the toss coins which was used in the Euro 2020 Championship Final between England & Italy.

Mainly, the Secretary General of the UEFA Children’s Foundation, Urs Kluser, spoke about this cooperation. “We are interested in collaborating with ORIGYN to bring these major issues to the world stage. In the interests of the UEFA Foundation for Children, we share a common vision for using next-generation technology like NFTs to raise money for children and citizens around the world,” they said. “We share it all over the world. There is no better collective mission.”

Additionally, Bill Ackman and Paris Hilton supported the series. To explain, this was while ORIGYN lately raised around of funding value $20 million.

What is ORIGYN?

ORIGYN is a platform which connects digital certificates to the world’s most valuable physical works. These digital twins are non-fungible, special, and often, attached to a connected physical object. In addition, the UEFA coin will be minted by ORIGYN to a digital twin NFT and will be jointly auctioned. With the release of the physical coin in the second quarter of 2022, along with other rare collectibles from the foundation.

This collaboration will be done exclusively on the ORIGYN platform, Impossible Things, which will be releasing in the second quarter of the current year.
