Let’s be clear Oprah Winfrey did not call Harvey Weinstein to offer her support!
Harvey Weinstein had been going around telling folks that Oprah called him to offer her support, but her spokesperson has told TMZ that it is not true!
“Oprah has not spoken to Harvey Weinstein directly. Someone from his team reached out to her to see if she would talk to him, and she said she would if it was for an interview. There are no plans for an interview at this time.”
The interview, Oprah’s rep is referring, would’ve been for her new 60 Minutes show, but “She was only interested if he’d look in the mirror and give her the honest, bone marrow truth.”
