So I was doing my daily blog reading when I came across this post from A Beautiful Mess I've been meaning to do some baking these holidays and the apple pie seemed to simpe yet delicious to resist. So I put on my apron and got to work in the kitchen.
So we sugared the apples...
Rolled and cut the pastry...
Weaved it and placed it on top of the apples
Baked for 16 minutes
And voila!
I also had left over pastry so time for mini pizzas!
It was all so delicious, although, there was a lot of food and even after splitting it with my sister I couldn't finish it all. Regardless, it was so yummy and I'm definitely going to be making more of the opposite apple pies.
