Oppo is rumored to unveil its much-awaited flagship Oppo Find X8 series next month. However, long before the launch, speculations about the devices of this lineup have started in the technology circles. They are also seen on various certification platforms. After the standard Oppo Find X8 model, a new Oppo device, possibly the Oppo Find X8 Pro Satellite Edition, has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform with the upcoming Dimensity 9400 chipset.

An Oppo device with model number PKC110 has been listed on the Geekbench benchmarking database. This model number is speculated to be related to Oppo Find X8 Satellite Edition. The phone scored 3,010 points in Geekbench's single-core test and 8,686 points in multi-core test.
This is the highest single-core score ever seen for a MediaTek Dimension 9400 processor. But it still falls short of the performance of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor in the upcoming OnePlus 13 handset. The OnePlus phone scored 3,236 points in the single-core test and 1,0049 points in the multi-core test earlier this month. The chipset manufacturer is still optimizing the processor to increase its performance, so better results will be seen when the device is officially launched.

According to recent reports, the Dimension 9400 chip has a single Cortex-X925 core clocked at 3.63GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores clocked at 2.8GHz, and a quad Cortex-A7 series core clocked at 2.1GHz. For graphics, the chipset is equipped with Mali-G925-Immortalis MC12 GPU.

The Oppo Find X8 Satellite Edition model will be similar to the regular Find X8 Pro, with satellite connectivity as an additional feature. Reports suggest that the Oppo Find X8 Pro handset will sport a curved display with 1.5K resolution.

The Oppo Find X8 Pro handset will have a circular quad-camera module on the back, which may include a pair of periscope telephoto cameras and an ultrawide lens along with the primary lens. The device packs a 5,800mAh battery, which will support 50W wireless charging and 80W wired charging. Other notable features may include an IP69-rated chassis, an alert slider and a camera control button. The phone will probably run on Android 15 based ColorOS 15 custom skin.
