OPPO A74 5G has been launched with Snapdragon 480 SoC and 48-MP triple rear camera setup in India. It debuts as the most affordable 5G device in the country and also the first device which is powered by Snapdragon 480 SoC. OPPO A74 5G runs on ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box and comes in Fluid Black, Fantastic Purple color variants.

Oppo A74 5G features a 6.5-inches LTPS LCD FHD+ ( 2400 x 1080 pixels ) resolution display with a punch-hole on the top left corner. The screen has a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 405 PPI, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 550 nits of peak brightness, 90.5% screen-to-body ratio, and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Under the hood, It is driven by the Snapdragon 480 chipset and paired with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage.
Coming to the camera, It is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 48-Megapixel (Primary) sensor + 2-Megapixel (macro) lens + 2-Megapixel (monochrome) sensor. On the front, there is an 8-Megapixel selfie snapper.
The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. For connectivity, It has dual-SIM, 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, and GNSS (GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, QZSS), 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The sensor on board includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, proximity sensor, gyroscope, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Lastly, It measures 162.9 x 74.7 x 8.4mm in dimensions and weighs 188g.

OPPO A74 5G comes in a solo variant of the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage that carries a price tag of ₹17,990. The first sale of the device is going to held on April 26 at 1 PM on Amazon India.
