Opera Crypto Browser, a Web3-focused project for navigating between decentralized apps (DApps), games, and metaverse platforms, has announced a partnership with Coin98, a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform based in Southeast Asia, to make Web3 more accessible.

After Coin98 is added to Opera’s Crypto Browser, users will be able to access the platform’s multichain nonfungible tokens (NFTs), decentralized exchanges (DEXs), cross-chain bridges, and asset swaps. They will also be able to stake and lend their cryptocurrency portfolios.

Southeast Asia is known as a hotspot for online technology because it has the most internet users in the world. It is also a region with a growing number of young people and a growing crypto community. By working together, Opera’s Crypto Browser will be one step closer to its goal of getting more people to use cryptocurrencies and Web3. Susie Batt, who is in charge of Opera’s crypto ecosystem, said this:

“With over 340 million users worldwide, it is critical that we encourage mainstream adoption by supplying products and services that everyone can use.”

Opera has been a major player in the cryptocurrency business for a while, and in 2019, it was the first major browser to accept Bitcoin (BTC) payments. In January 2022, Opera announced the Crypto Browser project. It is a Web3-based project that will make it easier to find DApps, games, and metaverse platforms.

As part of the initiative, the browser was made to work with nine major blockchain networks, including Bitcoin, Solana (SOL), Polygon (MATIC), StarkEx, Ronin, Celo, Nervos Network, and BNB chain. Early this year, Opera worked with Yat, a service that makes it possible to create emotive URLs or web addresses.
