I feel very hypocritical writing this. I have never experienced poverty and right now, I am sitting in a coffee shop drinking my $4.83 iced caramel macchiato as I text my friends on my iPhone. After this, I will drive home to my warm house and watch TV until I get tired. I have never been truly hungry or thirsty and I am so blessed to have been born into this privilege and have the opportunity to graduate high school and attend college.
