Two things I love; a confident thick chick and a well thought out Halloween costume. Well, I got double my money’s worth after seeing plus size fashion blogger Chastity Garner Valentine (aka @garnerstyle on Instagram) don a luxurious blond wig and pink bathing suit to remind us of the time earlier this year when Mariah Carey stopped giving a fuck. And in all honesty, Chastity’s version is a million times better!

Take that MiMi! And extra points for the shady wheelchair scene at the end since that’s how Mariah gets around these days. Chastity took to her blog Garnerstyle.com to reveal how Mariah inspired this look for Halloween;
I knew exactly what I wanted to be for Halloween when I saw the Mariah on stage giving you a smidgen of a dance routine. I loved it. I watched it like 100 times. I thought it was hilarious, but I love that Mariah does exactly what she wants to do and how she wants to do. She’s a legend. In addition to giving you an amazing voice, she gives you diva in the true sense of the word.
Bravo Chastity, though now I’m a bit worried. Mariah might send a few Trick or Treaters called lawyers over to Chastity’s house with a Cease and Desist order for being a better version of her. Or maybe she’ll watch the video, say “Meh” and then return to her bath of champagne and diamonds. You can never tell with divas.
