It shouldn’t come come as a surprise that J. Crew’s Spring 2014 collection was totally amazing. I mean, every season it seems they manage to get better and better, and I’m always inspired by the looks they create and put together. Also, as a self professed retail and merchandising geek, I’m continuously amazed at how Mickey Drexler has totally reinvented the brand and elevated it to fashion “it girl” status. That takes skills my friends. But back to the collection…the colors, the patterns, the textures and jewels definitely make a statement, and while I’m longing for fall weather and fashion, I pinned several of their latest looks for inspiration once the spring season returns. It’s a shame we have to wait until next spring for all these goodies to hit stores. Start preparing your wallets now. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
