Director: Tony Jaa, Panna Rikkikrai
Writer: Tony Jaa, Panna Rikkikrai (Screenplay)
Starring: Tony Jaa, Primorata Dejudom, Dan Chupong, Nirut Sirichanya, Petchtai Wongkamlao, Sarunyu Wongkrachang
Plot: Picking up where Ong Bak 2 had left off. Tien is capture and almost beaten to death before he is saved and brought back to the Kana Khone villagers. There he is taught meditation and how to deal with his Karma, but very soon his arch rival returns challenging Tien for a final duel.
Verdict: The not so epic conclusion
Story: Much similar to the storyline in the second part of the saga and picking up where it ended, we have Tien doing the whole training routine again, going up against an army that invade his town and go out to kill the arch nemesis once and for all. It delves more into the spiritual side and looks at possession like spirits leaving characters to question their own sanity. It is not real difference from the second one and could have been put together to make one film really. (6/10)
Actor Review: Tony Jaa – Tien the beaten warrior who will rise once again and have his vengeance on man who left him for dead. Jaa’s routine is always good to watch but is becoming a bit repetitive now. (6/10)
Director Review: Tony Jaa, Panna Rikkikrai – Creating a standard action film, but need to look into different stories now. (6/10)
Action: More battles worth watching that have some brilliant fighting in. (8/10)
Believability: No (0/10)
Chances of Tears: No (0/10)
Settings: Using the same and similar setting used from the second to keep up the authenticate look throughout. (8/10)
Suggestion: If you have watched the first two you might as well finish it all off. If you haven’t this will be hard to watch and you may find it difficult to understand everything that is happening. (Finish Saga)
Best Part: Town drunk is funny.
Worst Part: Nothing new
Action Scene Of The Film: Final fight
Kill Of The Film: Final villain
Oscar Chances: No
Chances of Sequel: No this is the final part of the saga
Overall: Time For Jaa To Hit Hollywood Before It Is Too Late
