Good news for Indian OnePlus phone lovers. The company has confirmed that alongside the OnePlus 15R device, the OnePlus 15R Ace Edition model will also be launched in India. OnePlus 15R will be available in three color options in India. These will be Charcoal Black, Mint Green and Electric Violet. The latter color option will bring some external differences compared to the other two models, but the core specifications of the handset will remain the same.
OnePlus 15R Ace Edition will be launched in India on December 17
OnePlus said in a press note that the OnePlus 15R Ace Edition will be available for purchase in India from Amazon and the company’s official website. It will launch on December 17 alongside the OnePlus 15R and OnePlus Pad Go 2.
And the OnePlus 15R Ace Edition model has been teased to have a fiberglass back panel. It will have a special coating where the word “Ace” will be engraved in the design.
But keep in mind, the OnePlus 15R Ace Edition has seen a change in design but its specifications are the same as the OnePlus 15R. It will have a 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate. According to the brand, the handset will have a pixel density of 450 ppi and a peak brightness of 1800 nits.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus 15R will feature the DetailMax Engine for computational photography. It is also confirmed to offer Ultra Clear Mode, Clear Burst and Clear Night engine technology.
It will use the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset for performance and the OnePlus 15R will be the first smartphone powered by this processor. The phone is also confirmed to feature the new G2 Wi-Fi chip and touch response chip.
