The Welikada Police stated that one person was admitted to the Colombo National Hospital with cut injuries in a clash between two groups residing at Rajagiriya Obeysekera Pura Arunodaya Mawatha yesterday (7).
A senior official of the Welikada Police said that this clash was a result of a minor dispute between two groups in the same area.
Police said that five people were arrested on suspicion in connection with the clash and that they are to be produced in court today (8).
