Couple of days back we were invited by Saudamini, she was the ever smiling hostess for a New menu review at The Irish House, Phoenix Market City at Viman nagar .
Some how i have never been a fan of restaurants based in malls , so generally i avoid them but this experience has changed my thinking and its a must visit.
As soon as we reached the venue we were escorted to our table where soon Farzana and myself were going to be immersed in the most gastronomic experience i have had in a long time.
The pleasure was more in the company we had , young journalists from various media and places were there , one young girl was from Mumbai and she was really enjoying her current experience in Pune and another was from as far as Belgium on an internship in India and many more vibrant personalities were there.
My evening was more highlighted when i met an old friend Rahul Singh who is the person in charge of The Irish House now and the executive chef Rahul Kulkarni who had specially come down from Mumbai for the event.
Ever smiling staff at your call and they were well versed with the menu.
Overall we had a fantastic experience and i wish the new menu all the success , i think they are doing exceptionally well as it was packed though a week day and some waiting was there at some point too.
I just have one suggestion for the management, the outside area tends to get a little stuffy after a time , a fan or a cooler might do the trick.
Other than that my experience was A +, you have to go there to experience it.
