Throughout the campaign trail this year Donald Trump has come up with nicknames for political rivals. “Lyin Ted” for Ted Cruz, “Little Marco” for Marco Rubio and his latest nickname “Crooked Hillary” for Democratic front runner Hillary Clinton. John Kasich is waiting for his nickname.
The Washington Post is out today looking into Trump’s methodology of nicknaming rivals.
On March 26, we wrote about how after Ted Cruz called Donald Trump a “sniveling coward” someone registered snivelingcoward.com and pointed that at Trump’s Twitter account.
LyinTed.com was registered in March when Mr. Trump coined the nickname. The registrant bought up the net/org/info and .us to go with the .com.
The .com is developed, screenshot:
The CrookedHillary.com registrant must have had a crystal ball because they registered the domain a couple weeks before Mr. Trump officially coined the nickname.
The website is for sale and is accepting donations. The home page makes clear they are not a non profit, but rather grassroots organization. Other extensions were registered on April 17 like net/org/us.
