One Direction Swap Watch

By Evette Garside @evette77

Jordanna loves One Direction and throughout the Summer holidays she was busy with her new swap watch kit making all sorts of stylish watches featuring her favorite band.
The watch swap kit comes from Flair toys and is part of Flairs Cool Create range.

In the box are over 70 accessories to make different watch strap designs.

There is only one working watch face which is a little bit of a let down. It would of been nice to have an extra one just incase.
The other accessories include the watch surrounds, straps, clips, cords and beads.

Making the watches with the included watch straps is very easy. First Jordanna picks a watch surround and inserts the watch face.

Then adds the plastic clips and selects a watch strap.

And that’s it, within a few minutes a watch is created. The watch surrounds and straps can then be swapped and changed to create many different styles. It’s a new watch everytime.

There is a further option to make your own glam watch using cords, colourful beads and clips. We did attempt this but unfortunately we found that the bead holes were too small to get the cord through. Therefore Jordanna is more than happy to stick to swapping straps and faces for now. I am unsure if we are doing something wrong but could just not get the cord through the holes.
Another option is to plait the cords together for a rope effect watch like this.

The watch provides lots of fun for big One Direction fans. There are many options to create a great watch to match almost any outfit.
As stated above it would of been nice to have a spare watch face and I also think more plastic connector clips are needed as these are very small and can easily be lost with them being see through too.

The set is aimed at girls aged 7 and over. There are many small parts such as beads and clips which could cause a choking hazard.

The One Direction Swap Watch set can be purchased on Amazon for £14.61. This includes free delivery.
