Ladies protesting in Ondo In accordance with a report by The PUNCH, a whole bunch of ladies throughout the 4 native authorities areas of Ondo State staged protests on Saturday, in opposition to the spate of insecurity within the space.
It was gathered that the peaceable protests had been staged in Oka Akoko, Akungba Akoko and another Akoko cities.
The protests had been mentioned to have been triggered by the current kidnap of academics by some bandits in Auga Akoko, the killing of a police officer by unknown gunmen at Oka Akoko final week, and the assault of 17 travellers on Ifira Akoko-Isua Akoko street by armed robbers amongst others.
A few of the protesters, who had been holding brooms of their arms, had been half-naked, chanting numerous solidarity songs alongside the streets.
They referred to as on the safety brokers and the state authorities to come back to the rescue of the world from the assault of the bandits.
