Verdict on Once Upon a Time in Uganda
Once Upon a Time in Uganda is a documentary following the Ugandan filmmaker, Isaac Nabwana. We see how he went out and started making zero-budget movies in Uganda with action and violence. His work took the internet by storm but despite his massive online following, he never seemed to achieve any funding.
This also focuses on the friendship between Isaac and Alan Hofmanis who wanted to help turn him into an international star. However, it shows the problems they faced with changes despite their popularity.
