Story: Once in a Valentine starts when Celeste (Lott) is pushed to step out of her quiet life by her best friend Shelia (Amisial). She has been living with a past trauma, while raising her daughter and being successful at work. Celeste meets a bar owner Noah (Pope) she starts stepping outside her comfort zone.
They start getting along and learning their secrets, but is everything going to work out for the couple? The past takes its toll on their relationship as Celeste’s past has bigger revelations.

Once in a Valentine is a thriller following a traumatized woman who tries to put her life back together. However, her new relationship brings to light her past which could damage the process she has been through.
This movie is a hard-hitting drama that seems like it is going down one simple direction before taking a drastic turn. It surprises us and dives into a disturbing path. The subject matter isn’t going to be for everyone, and it can be difficult to watch. The performances elevate the story, and we get a strong concept that should support other victims.
