Given the release of Mater populi fidelis by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, it seems the necessary graces have not yet been granted by God, to proclaim the Virgin Mary as co-redemptrix in humankind’s salvation history. Mary took on the office of co-redemptrix at the very moment Christ was conceived in her womb, but the full understanding of this title has clearly not yet been attained.
