On Fatherhood and the Father of Fathers

How can fathers – any fathers – fulfill the fatherhood bestowed upon them, natural or otherwise, to its maximum potential, if they do not know or continue refusing to know the Father of all: Him from whom all fatherhood is derived? The dysfunction in fatherhood and level of generalized fatherlessness we are witnessing these days results precisely from this fact: we marginalized the One and only Father from our lives and intend to foreclose Him even more, in His function as first Person of the Holy Trinity. How can we expect, therefore, that functional fatherhood exist in our midst, given we continue rejecting the Origin of fatherhood Himself?
