The COVID-19 Omicron variant has reached the United States. Republicans are already starting to play political games with it (with some even calling it a Democratic Party plot to win the 2022 election). But most Americans are not that stupid. They know it's dangerous, and they are willing to have the government do whatever is necessary to control the virus (in all its forms). The only thing most people don't support is closing down businesses and government again.The chart above is from a Morning Consult Poll -- done on November 29th and 30th of a national sample of 2,200 adults, with a 2 point margin of error.
