After the long winter we had and what has turned out to be an unpredictable and soggy spring, I think it's best that we send out our good karma to the on-coming season and properly welcome summer to Toronto. For those of you who agree, or for those of you who just love yoga, this event is for you.
This up-coming Friday June 21st, the day of the summer solstice, yogis will unite in the Distillery district in downtown Toronto for a full day of free yoga. The classes are open to people of all skill levels and will be run by instructors from some of the city's top yoga studios from 10am to 6pm. See the poster below for a full list of participating studios.
Be sure to wear comfortable clothing and pack on the sunscreen. If you have a mat, then please bring it. Don't have a mat? Don't get your chakras out of line - you can rent a mat for a small donation at the door. To reserve one in advance or to make a donation to Colon Cancer Canada please visit the Om T.O. website. For bonus good karma points, all donations go to Colon Cancer Canada.

Come out and celebrate the summer solstice with a renewal of mind, body and strength, and a celebration of creative expression and of course, summer.
