OM: Morgan Sanson will not go to the Premier League this summer

Wanted by several teams in England, Morgan Sanson has decided not to take any action. The midfielder will start the season with Olympique de Marseille.

If André Villas-Boas was afraid of the last day of the mercato in the Premier League, it was partly for Morgan Sanson (24). For several weeks now, the name of Olympique de Marseille’s midfielder, valued at more than €30m by his management, has been on the shelves of several English teams, including Crystal Palace, Wolverhampton and Everton.

But AVB and the Phocaeans can rest assured, the former Montpellier native, who is training this Thursday, has made his decision. In an affirmative tone, La Provence assures this Thursday that the native of Saint-Doulchard will not make it to England this summer. He considers that the time has not yet come for him to cross the Channel and does not want to rush to choose a club at the last minute. According to the regional daily, the former international Espoirs tricolore (10 caps, 2 goals) intends to start the season with OM.

Under contract until June 2022, he recently said he was seduced by the speech and method of his new coach. “OM? I’ll be there. I want to stay here. I have a new coach, who has a good playing philosophy. I like it and I want to continue with him,” he explained recently to RMC Sport. This is called putting words into action.
